Terms of Service
Effective August 11, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of newsQ. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
newsQ discovers, organizes, summarizes, evaluates, and links to news and commentary published by third parties. Scores, categories, and other automated outputs reflect newsQ's methodology and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or change over time.
newsQ is currently a private beta. Features may change, become unavailable, or contain errors, and we may limit or discontinue beta access at any time.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials and beta access information confidential. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not share access in a way that circumvents beta limits or other safeguards.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse newsQ, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, evade security or rate limits, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy the service at unreasonable scale, use it to violate law or others' rights, or help anyone do those things.
Third-party content and services
Publishers and other third parties own or control their articles, images, trademarks, and linked services. newsQ does not endorse every item it displays and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, accuracy, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is subject to their terms.
No professional advice
newsQ provides information for general informational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, medical, investment, or other professional advice. Verify important information with primary sources and qualified professionals before acting on it.
newsQ rights
newsQ and its software, design, branding, scoring methodology, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback you provide may be used by newsQ without restriction or compensation.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using newsQ at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect newsQ or others, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or operate or conclude the beta.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, newsQ is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service or any article, score, summary, or recommendation will be accurate, complete, secure, or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, newsQ and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Rights that cannot legally be waived or limited remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Questions may be sent to mac@newsq.ai.
